We look forward to a weekend of showcasing the sites, scenes, and history still around today, while welcoming friends and fans seeking shark themed nostalgia as the film’s 50th anniversary approaches. Enjoy the Edgartown 4th of July parade and spectacular fireworks show overlooking the Edgartown Lighthouse & harbor! The festivities kick off at 5pm with the parade and the fireworks start at dusk.

The annual Bass In the Grass is part art exhibit, part fundraiser, honoring the Martha's Vineyard Striped Bass & Bluefish Derby, the Island’s annual fall fishing event.

Bass in the Grass is a public art exhibit created to raise money for local artists and the Derby Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to qualified Vineyard students annually by the Martha's Vineyard Striped Bass & Bluefish Derby, Inc.

Starting the fourth week of September, you can view this school of fish in the mini park on Main Street and bid on your favorite fish for the chance to have a piece of the island in your home.  September 20 - October 20, 2024.

Join us for a race unlike any other: the Fifth Annual Martha’s Vineyard Brunch Run/Walk presented by the Edgartown Board of Trade & Amity Island Running Club. Pick your distance! Voted Best of the Vineyard for the eighth year in a row, Christmas in Edgartown is a weekend festival you don’t want to miss! Every year through various events, Christmas In Edgartown helps raise over $50,000 for island-wide charities and non-profits. Over 100 Edgartown and Island Businesses participate in the weekend festivities. December 12-15, 2024.
